Global Astronomy Month
A worldwide celebration of astronomy every April
Global Astronomy Month is AWB’s flagship annual program, bringing together skywatchers, educators, astronomy clubs, artists, students, and communities around the world.
Throughout the month of April, participants take part in observing events, online programs, public outreach, cultural astronomy activities, and shared celebrations of the night sky.

Recycled Eclipse Glasses Distribution Program
Giving eclipse glasses a second life
AWB’s Recycled Eclipse Glasses Distribution Program collects gently used solar eclipse glasses and helps distribute them to communities, schools, libraries, and astronomy groups that need safe solar viewing equipment.
This program helps reduce waste while expanding access to safe eclipse and solar observing around the world.
